What are your rates?

$300 - 4 hrs
$400 - 6hrs
$500- 8 hrs
Up to four people.

What is included in the trip?

Capt. Wright includes ice, water, and some bait.

Do I have to buy a fishing license?

NO ! Captain Wright supplies the license for up to 4 anglers included in the cost of the trip, no mater how many days you go fishing.

Does Captain Wright guide year-round?

Yes. Captain Wright is a full time guide and a professional light tackle specialist. Fishing in Florida is enjoyable ALL YEAR! Some species are more abundant than others depending on the time of year. Even in the dead of winter, we enjoy catching redfish, sheepshead, drum, trout, flounder, whiting and more! Make Captain Wright YOUR personal Guide! You can schedule your adventure any day of the week!

What kinds of fish will I catch?

Depends on the time of year, weather, winds, tides, type/location of fishing and water temperature when you go as to what is biting at that particular time. Some species can be caught year-round while other species move in and out at certain times of the year. Pick some dates and call Captain Wright and he'll let you know what will be biting when. Depending on the type of fishing trip, anything from tarpon, shark, snook and trout.

What is the best time of year to fish?

We are fortunate to have year round fishing, with different species available depending on water temperature, wind, and other factors. Captain Wright can tell you what to expect.

What should I bring?

Beverage-no glass please
Sunscreen, Hat and Polarized Sunglasses are a must to see those hard to see fish
Camera with lots of film
Rod and Reel
Bait
Deck or tennis shoes-no black soles please.
Whatever you would like to eat and drink. Smaller coolers please

What not to bring!

Big Coolers.
GPS Capt. Wright has one.

Where will we meet?

This depends on the time of year, weather, and what areas are holding fish. Capt. Wright trailers his boat to the best possible location for fishing on the day of your charter. Generally we will meet at 7am, and depart from the ramp where we will launch that day. Capt. Wright always likes to speak with his charter customers the evening (or two) before fishing to discuss the current fishing conditions and any specific species you wish to target - He will then adjust the launch site accordingly, and give you directions on where you will meet.

What type of fishing tackle do you use?

It really depends on the customer,
Some fly fish, while others like spinning tackle or bait casting. All are effective and fun ways to fish here, and Capt. Wright is able to easily suit your skills in any of these departments.

Do you guarantee fish?

No, we do not guarantee fish. There really is no point in doing that. This is a marketing ploy by other second rate " GUIDES " to get you to feel warm and cozy about booking your trip with them.

What is flats fishing?

Flats fishing is fishing the shallow water areas in the Banana River and such . This could be anywhere from 8" - 3' of water either sight casting to fish you see or blind casting to fish you don't see.

Do you give fishing lessons?

Yes. For $45 an hour.
